Oceanfront Cottage in the Bahamas
Our Bahamian Cottage is situated directly at the ocean.You have unobstructed ocean views from the main porch, living, dining and kitchen as well as ocean views from all 3 bed rooms. The smaller bedroom on the ground floor features a full bed for 2 and has it's own private bathroom next door. The 2 bedrooms upstairs have a queen size bed each and share 1 spacious bathroom. All rooms have ceiling fans. Linen and towels and beach towels are provided. Use of the fully equipped kitchen. The food store and the bus stop are in 15 Min walking distance. You can buy everything in the food store. Buses run everywhere from early am until 6 pm, fare is $1.25 Paradise Island: Atlantis Hotel, Cabbage Beach (the nicest and longest beach on NP), boat excursions terminal can be reached by taxi for $15. or by bus and a walk over the bridge. For shopping in Nassau, downtown, Bay Street, the taxi fare is $20. or you can go by bus. There are no buses to/from the airport. Airport transfer is available for $40. Directions from the airport to the cottage: West Bay Street, Bay Street (through downtown), East Bay Street, Eastern Road. At the end of Eastern Road you drive along a big bay. You will see a nice small beach on your left and Prince Charles Drive T-junction on your right. Keep going another 500 ft and then turn left into a private paved road. Our yellow cottage is straight ahead right at the ocean on a 18,000 sq ft property. |
